Our principle Hearse and Limousines are Jaguars which have been custom made for us. They are cleaned before each funeral and when they are returned to the garage. This fleet and our second fleet are both in black. Our second fleet are custom built Rovers. Each of the limousines can carry up to 7 passengers.
In addition we have a custom made extended wheel base Range Rover, which can carry a full 7 foot coffin. This can come into its own especially in winter conditions and to go to inaccessible places or to the woodland burial ground.
We do not have any vehicle which is sign written with our name, or the words “private ambulance” on the side. Again we commissioned two black Ford transit people style vehicles with “dark privacy glass” in the side, so that they are not like delivery vans, but are spacious to transport the deceased on stretchers from a hospital, nursing home or private house. We also have a black estate car which we use for babies and young people’s funerals, so that the small coffin is not dwarfed by the inside of a large hearse.
