Ian started I N Newman Ltd in 1988 having worked in the funeral business for a number of years. The company is proud to remain an independent company owned by Ian and his wife Janet, both of whom work in the business. In 2001 Mark, their son, joined them and they are supported by a team of highly trained, caring staff who work together as a family taking a pride in everything they do for you. We want to ensure that you receive a high standard of care and personal attention throughout every aspect of the business.
No two funerals are ever exactly the same, and as an independent funeral director we are able to arrange every funeral to meet individual needs. We will help you to make sure that all aspects of the funeral are appropriate and we are able to offer a full range of services to you. From floral tributes, sourcing music and readings, printing service sheets and organising burials and the scattering of cremated remains, to catering arrangements and memorials we can take care of everything for you. We will also provide you with a cost quotation for the funeral once we understand all your requirements.

We have offices and Chapels of Rest located in both Salisbury and Fordingbridge. Our services are available to you 24-hours a day throughout the year by ringing our telephone number. Your call will always be answered by a member of staff who will assist you with any query you may have. Alternatively our offices are staffed Monday – Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm.
